About our Team

The Insight & Analytics team is part of RX’s Global Strategy function. The team comprises the Head of Insight & Analytics, another Analytics Manager, a Market Intelligence Manager, and two Data Analysts. The team develops insights and analytics to drive key strategic initiatives, working closely with the rest of the function and global stakeholders.

About the Role

This role is not a typical analytics role! While frequently using your data and statistical modelling skills, you will also use and build your consulting skills. You will manage projects from initial scoping to implementation, communicating complex insights to your colleagues. You will work with diverse leadership teams and cultures to succeed inside a high-performing business.

This role is in RX’s Insight & Analytics team, based in RX’s head office in Richmond (London) and will report to the Head of Insight & Analytics. The role will involve occasional travel to our various global offices for project meetings and workshops.

Responsibilities

Leading end-to-end analytics delivery, including:

Defining the problem and project timescales with stakeholders

Identifying and sourcing data

Using advanced analytics to gain relevant insights from the data

Preparing effective presentation material to communicate your insights

Collaborating with BU teams in implementation, measurement, and review

Defining, documenting, communicating, and demonstrating best practices:

Building a network across the group

Creating best practice content based on analytics innovations and our project work

Publishing reports and sharing case studies

Organising and running analytics workshops, webinars, and events

Enthusiastically sharing project work learnings with leaders and teams

Personal development, ad-hoc guidance for leaders and teams, external input:

Contributing to workshops to help tackle key strategic challenges

Actively seeking and communicating insights and ideas from outside the exhibitions industry

Transferring skills and capabilities wherever possible to colleagues we work with

Continuously developing your own skill set and capability

Requirements

5 years+ experience practicing advanced analytics and working with data, ideally in large corporate environments

Data Visualisation tools (Power BI preferred but not essential)

Analytics programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R)

Analytics modelling techniques (e.g., linear/logistic regression, clustering, classification modelling)

Generating insights from data

Thinking strategically and tactically – seeing the “big picture” and operational details

Communicating and presenting, both written and oral

Use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Nice to have expertise in:

Project Management

AWS

Functional experience and expertise (e.g., sales, marketing, pricing)

Primary research techniques (quantitative or qualitative)
