Due to sustained continued expansion, they now require an Android Platform Software Engineer to develop and support the software running on our Android-based products. You will be responsible for development, integration, debugging, and testing activities. The Person:
Candidates suitable for consideration should be able to provide evidence of the following: A HNC/D / Degree in Software Engineering (or similar) or be a Time Served Engineer with relevant experience Embedded real-time software development experience on Android AOSP, using C++/Java Experience with development tools for debugging, profiling, code coverage, memory leak detection etc. Experience with real-time, multi-processor, multi-threaded, event-driven software. Experience of using configuration management and fault tracking tools. Innovative with proven ability to generate new ideas and approaches to problems. The successful candidate will enjoy a salary of between £40,000 to £50,000 (DOE) + Excellent Benefits / Prospects (including Relocation Assistance), an employment package that you would expect from a company that values its employees.
