We are on the lookout for a friendly and approachable Animal Care Assistant to join our team. The role will include working at both our Ballymena branch and Antrim. Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 GCSE's grade C or above including English Language, Maths, and a Science subject. Animal Care experience is preferred but not essential. Your key responsibilities will include:

Helping the clinical team with hospitalised patients. Answering telephone calls and other receptionist duties. Assisting in theatre. Ensuring a high level of cleanliness at all sites. Stocking up. Training on the use of various medical equipment to assist the clinical team with providing high levels of patient care. About the rota and salary

This is a full-time permanent role working 34 hours per week. The midweek shifts will cover the clinic opening hours of 8:00am-7:00pm. There will be 1 in 3 Saturdays in our Ballymena clinic from 9:00am-2:00pm. The salary will be up to £20,278 DOE per annum. Come and join our supportive team!

Fenaghy Veterinary Clinic is an exclusively companion animal clinic based in Ballymena and Antrim. We first opened in February 2004, in a small business unit on the Fenaghy Road in Galgorm, Ballymena. Within 4 years we had moved to a much larger premises on the Galgorm Road, and we are proud to have opened our second clinic on the Greystone Road in Antrim in July 2012.
