What You Will Do: Develop and maintain complex shading networks, focusing on efficient and methodical design. Capture physical references for digital reproduction, leveraging a deep understanding of photography, optics, and digital scanning techniques. Create physically accurate digital materials and textures, adhering to the company's creative and technical standards. Manage a comprehensive material library, ensuring a high-quality output across various CGI use cases. Collaborate across departments to support Vehicle Design, Materiality, Brand, and Customer Ready workstreams. Drive workflow improvements, enhancing the efficiency and quality of the department's output.
What You Will Bring: Extensive experience in texturing and material/shader creation within the CGI industry. Expertise in VRay renderer with Autodesk Maya and Unreal Engine. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator, and Adobe Substance Designer. Strong knowledge of 3D model topology, UV mapping with UDIMs, and data/file management. A proven track record of delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
