Role and Purpose We are seeking a talented individual to become an essential member of the animation team, responsible for creating visually stunning and lifelike animations for characters, objects, and environments in our games. You will help breathe life into game assets, contributing to the overall immersion and player experience. Whether you’re an experienced animator with a solid foundation or a budding talent eager to develop your abilities, this position provides a chance to enhance your understanding of animation-focused mechanics. Responsibilities Assist in creating 2D or 3D animations for characters, creatures, props, and environmental elements. Follow established animation styles, guidelines, and artistic direction provided by senior team members. Produce and refine high quality key-frame and motion capture animation content, processing them ready for integration. Follow guidelines on content workflows and support in planning content creation. Work closely with character artists, riggers, and technical artists to ensure animations meet technical requirements and the artistic vision. Participate in team meetings and actively contribute to creative discussions. Strive for high-quality animations that enhance the gameplay experience. Manage time effectively to meet animation deadlines and project milestones. Requirements Demonstratable experience with motion builder. Experience working with 3D models and rigs (provided by 3D modelers and riggers). Display solid key-frame animation skills in a reel that demonstrates your core skills and command of fundamental animation techniques. Demonstrate your understanding of weight, timing, and posing through your ability to manipulate motion capture data and key-frame animation. A passion for game development and an in-depth awareness of current titles and industry trends. Experience working on adventure open-world games. Skills in motion capture and facial animation. Collaborate in the execution of mocap shoots while being mindful of technical constraints. Please send through your portfolio and cover letter.
