This excellent GP surgery based over 2 sites in Lowestoft is looking to add to our clinical team. We are seeking an ANP or Nurse Practitioner who can work autonomously or as part of a team.
Main duties of the job
On a daily basis, you will be triaging and seeing patients face to face, running your own clinics. You will deal with referrals, scripts, test results, and help colleagues when necessary. Must be flexible, hardworking, and willing to muck in when needed. Ideally, the candidate will see all patients from young children to mature adults and have experience in dealing with all types of medical conditions. We also look after a local care home and provide twice-weekly ward rounds. Job responsibilities
The post holder is an experienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate safe clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnostic skills, for patients within the general practice. The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required. GCSA grade A to C in English and Maths Chronic disease management. Contraception Experience
Working as part of a team Experience in dealing with vulnerable patients Dealing with Pathology results Telephone triage Working in a GP practice Management or Leadership Disclosure and Barring Service Check
