Our esteemed client, a trusted partner of the UK Ministry of Defence, is seeking the services of a proficient Antenna Design Engineer. The role entails designing and developing RF and microwave antennas for missile subsystems. As an Antenna Design Engineer, you'll gather information from internal customers and suppliers on design requirements, volume constraints, and environmental specifications to ensure the final antenna design meets all requirements. What we're looking for: RF/Microwave Antenna Design in demanding environments Design, simulation & layout using HFSS Advanced simulations and optimisation of complex antenna arrays leveraging High-Performance Computing (HPC) or cluster-based computing. Antenna tests and trials in an anechoic chamber Diagnose antenna issues with visual inspection and data analysis during design. Manufacturing techniques, capabilities, and constraints Use of vector network analysers and other test equipment Appreciation of mechanical design & module packaging and appreciation of mixed-signal board techniques Understanding of engineering tools, processes, and procedures Ability to deliver required output within agreed timescales Please Note:

This role is based at their headquarters site in Stevenage, which plays a key part in missiles operations.
