An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Nurse to join our small anticoagulation specialist team, working full-time or part-time hours. The James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust serves a population of around 230,000 people in the Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft, and Waveney areas. Main duties of the job

This is a key role carrying a level of responsibility along with a demanding workload and great opportunity. The successful candidate will: Provide a Nurse Led Anticoagulation Service offering advice and expertise within the area of anticoagulation. Provide a prescribing and advisory service for all oral and parenteral anticoagulants for inpatients and outpatients. Provide advice on all areas of anticoagulation therapy to colleagues and clients. Provide advice on all areas of Thromboprophylaxis to colleagues within the Trust. About us

It is an exciting opportunity for an independent Nurse prescriber to join our nurse team working either full-time or part-time hours. We are looking for an NMC registered independent prescriber with experience in anticoagulation therapy preferred but not essential as you will be supported with training and education. NMC registered Holds independent Nurse prescriber certificate Degree or diploma in nursing Management/team leading qualification Experience and Knowledge

Experience in anticoagulation dosing Management experience and/or experience of leading a team Skills and Abilities

Broad knowledge base Ability to demonstrate evidence of applying theory to practice Ability to lead and work effectively within a team Good interpersonal skills which engender effective working relationships with staff Accurate document presentation and attention to detail with good IT skills Other

Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service Disclosure and Barring Service Check

Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 per annum pro rata
