Mackay About the Role : Join the Health and Wellbeing Programs team as a Therapeutic Case Manager, where you will deliver personalised, client-centred therapeutic interventions for individuals requiring Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) services. This role involves facilitating both individual and group therapeutic sessions, focusing on harm minimisation, recovery models, and strengths-based practices. Key Responsibilities : Develop and implement case management strategies, including assessments and goal planning. Deliver one-on-one and group therapeutic interventions using approaches like brief intervention therapy, solutions-focused therapy, strengths-based therapy, and motivational interviewing. Facilitate group modules and case coordination meetings. Conduct comprehensive case documentation and reporting. Provide culturally appropriate and trauma-informed care tailored to diverse clients. Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience : Bachelor's degree in Community Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, or a related field (required). Experience in AOD and dual diagnosis treatment principles. Skills in substance use assessment, brief intervention, risk management, and family support. Strong understanding of harm minimisation and recovery models. Knowledge of the AOD treatment and mental health sectors. Experience in case management and care coordination. Advanced therapeutic intervention skills. Strong case documentation and reporting abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to deliver culturally competent care.
