An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned AP& AR Manager to join a dynamic finance team within a leading global company. This role offers the chance to lead a small, dedicated team and manage the full AP/AR cycle while contributing to the process improvement and transformation of the accounts side of the business.
The ideal candidate for this Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager position brings a wealth of experience in managing AP/AR processes as well as proven experience with process and system implementation.
Key responsibilities:
* Line manage a team of 2 AP/AR staff, providing review, mentoring, training and development
* Ensure timely and accurate processing of all supplier and customer invoicing
* Take the lead in ensuring prompt resolution to supplier queries and maintain tight credit control
* Act as owner of several key business policies and proactively collaborate with the wider business to ensure compliance
* Work closely with AP and Finance colleagues in other territories to drive group efficiencies
* Ongoing review of AP/AR processes to improve efficiency
* Support month end close, including reconciliation of sales and purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations, internal and external audit support
* Prepare and deliver regular AP/AR KPI reporting back to senior finance team
* Support weekly cash forecasting deliverables

* Proficiency in Excel and Power Point
