The Role As an AP Finance Assistant, you will support the finance function with banking and purchase ledger tasks, ensuring financial integrity across our operations.Specifically, you will manage banking transactions for assigned EMEA accounts, reconciling statements, preparing payment runs, and maintaining direct debit records. You will also process supplier invoices and employee expense claims, and ensure compliance with

financial policies, assisting employees with queries.Working closely with the Financial Accountant, you will manage cash flow and oversee foreign currency payments, as well as support month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations.Additionally, you will:- Provide cover for UK BACS and EMEA payment runs when required- Monitor and resolve outstanding balances on company credit cards and supplier accounts- Support the Financial Accountant with smaller overseas payrolls- Assist with financial controls, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives About You To be considered as an AP Finance Assistant, you will need:- Experience working in a finance department, preferably within a global company- Experience with bank entries, reconciliations, supplier invoice processing, and expense management- Working knowledge of VAT and foreign currency transactions- The ability to apply financial processes to ensure compliance- Strong communication skills with confidence to challenge where appropriate- Proficiency in business/accounting software (NetSuite and SharePoint experience desirable)- Intermediate capability in MS Office, particularly Excel- High attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate data on timeOther organisations may call this role Accounts Payable Assistant, Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Ledger Clerk, Purchase Ledger Assistant, or Accounts Payable Clerk.Webrecruit and OSRL are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
