API Developer - 15 Month Contract
Rate: 500/550 per day inside IR35 - Remote with occasional visits to Swindon. The API developer will be a key part of the growing data team and will contribute to creating API based integration across various SaaS products used within the client. This position is part of the Data Engineering team in Business & Insight. Job Purpose:
The software engineer will be responsible for developing and supporting data integration across products such as Salesforce, Workday, public APIs and RDS instances. The software engineer is expected to have a good proficiency with tools/technology such as AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, Terraform, Serverless, Node.js, and Python. Experience
6 to 10 years working experience. Comfortable working in an Agile rapidly changing environment. Comfortable to participate in incident resolution by debugging logs over AWS tools. An accomplished developer, with excellent Node.js and Python skills. Experience working with infrastructure management tools such as Terraform and Serverless. Experience working with AWS stack and its integration with alert and monitoring tools. Experience maintaining code repositories over GitHub and delivering CI/CD pipelines in AWS. Moderate SQL experience on various platforms such as PostgreSQL, Athena, etc. Experience with AWS tools such as API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch, Event Bridge and SNS. Knowledge of designing API integration across SaaS products. Skills
Excellent user engagement/management, good communicator. AWS tools such as API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch, Event Bridge and SNS. SQL experience on various platforms such as PostgreSQL, Athena, etc. Experience working with infrastructure management tools such as Terraform and Serverless.
