With over 100 employees, Yackandandah Health is the largest employer in the town. We have developed a sustainable intergenerational site providing residential aged care, childcare, a medical centre, allied health services and apartment living. We are innovative and forward thinking in our approach to the delivery of community services. The Role We are seeking an experienced Residential Service Manager to lead our facility located in the town of Yackandandah, which is just 30 minutes drive from Albury. This role involves effective operational management and leadership, ensuring high-quality care and services for our residents in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards. Reporting to the Community General Manager & Chief Operating Officer, your responsibilities will include care governance, financial management, human resource management, sales and marketing, environmental services, and general administration. Understanding the residential aged care environment and standards, along with having a high level of empathy and compassion for our residents, is essential. What You Will Do Engage residents and help them live their best lives Lead and inspire your team to deliver outstanding resident experiences Manage the budget and use resources wisely Ensure residents receive safe, high-quality care Manage the residential service in compliance with policies, procedures, and Aged Care Quality Standards Who Are You And What Will You Bring 5 years of experience in a management role within the aged care sector Registered Nurse qualification and AHPRA registration (desirable) People management and leadership experience Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or management (highly desirable) NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Come experience the charm, history, and warmth of Yackandandah — it’s more than a place; it’s an invitation to create your own remarkable story!
