Who We Are
Yackandandah Health is proudly part of the Apollo Care Alliance, an innovative national organisation with a unique vision to support not-for-profit aged care communities located in beautiful North East Victoria, close to snow fields, wineries and waterways. With over 100 employees, Yackandandah Health is the largest employer in the town.
We have developed a sustainable intergenerational site providing residential aged care, childcare, a medical centre, allied health services and apartment living. We are innovative and forward thinking in our approach to the delivery of community services.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Residential Service Manager to lead our facility located in the town of Yackandandah, which is just 30 minutes drive from Albury. This role involves effective operational management and leadership, ensuring high-quality care and services for our residents in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Reporting to the Community General Manager & Chief Operating Officer, your responsibilities will include care governance, financial management, human resource management, sales and marketing, environmental services, and general administration. Understanding the residential aged care environment and standards, along with having a high level of empathy and compassion for our residents, is essential.

Manage the residential service in compliance with policies, procedures, and Aged Care Quality Standards
Who Are You And What Will You Bring
5 years of experience in a management role within the aged care sector
Registered Nurse qualification and AHPRA registration (desirable)
People management and leadership experience
Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or management (highly desirable)
NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
