leading sportswear brand

on the search for a

Sportswear Designer . This is a permanent role based in

Hampshire. As a

Sportswear Designer,

you will lead the design and development of assigned categories while managing a small team of designers. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the creative vision of the brand, delivering products that balance functionality, quality, and style. Key Responsibilities

Leading the design process from concept to final production for assigned categories. Collaborating with the wider design team to ensure cohesive collections across categories. Partnering with cross-functional departments, including buying, merchandising, and tech, to align on product vision and goals. Mentoring and guiding junior designers, fostering innovation and a productive creative environment. Conducting market research and trend analysis to inform design direction. Developing and presenting design concepts, technical specifications, and prototypes. Overseeing the execution of design details, maintaining brand standards and quality requirements. Staying up to date with industry trends, materials, and technologies related to technical and performance wear. What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field, or equivalent industry experience. Proven experience in apparel design, particularly technical and performance wear. Strong portfolio showcasing innovative designs and technical proficiency. Excellent understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and performance technologies. Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Strong leadership and team management skills. Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
