Application Developer
to join an IT Team based in Manchester.
The Application Developer will design and code functional programs and applications and will therefore have an excellent knowledge of programming. The goal is to write clean and flawless code to produce fully functional software applications according to requirements, so candidates should be familiar with a variety of operating systems and platforms, have an analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail.
Must haves:
Proven experience as an application developer. Experience in designing and building applications, including APIs. In-depth knowledge of Proclaim CMS and PMS. In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools. Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles. A team player with excellent communication skills. Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability. Great attention to detail and time-management skills.
Desirable skills and experience:
BSc/BA in computer science or relevant field; MSc/MA will be appreciated. In-depth Proclaim webservices experience will be beneficial. Experience of C# advantageous. SQL server experience advantageous, including in-depth SQL queries. Experience of PowerBI/Tableau analytic tools advantageous. Certified application developer is a plus.
