Location: Central United Kingdom If you are selected for this role, you will have these responsibilities: Technical Support: you will effectively meet CAD/CAM technical support needs and communicate solutions to end-users via telephone, e-mail, and the internet. Training: you will provide training courses for our customers: onsite, at our in-house training facility, and over the internet. Applications Engineering: you will travel to customer manufacturing facilities to install and implement our CAD/CAM software, assist the customer in tailoring the system to meet their manufacturing requirements, create reports for the shop floor cutting process, generate programs to test machine functionality, and run those test programs on the customers' machines to prove out the software capabilities. Demonstrations: you will provide technical sales support demonstration and competitive analysis (benchmarking). Desired Education, Experience and Skills Include: Mechanical and/or Manufacturing engineering experience, with a focus in CAD/CAM within a sheet metal fabrication and/or steel plate processing company. Experience in CNC programming for metal cutting machines (Punch, Laser, Plasma, Oxyfuel, Waterjet). Understand generic G-code/M-code programs and/or specific Machine Manufacturers code. Higher Education after School. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and/or part of a team, meeting multiple deadlines. Ability to discuss possible options with a customer, analyze their requirements, configure their system, deploy, and test with the customer. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and able to work to deadlines. Enthusiastic and positive attitude. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows. SQL database experience is a plus. Ability to travel to customers or training locations, this can be 25%-50% (max) of the time based on skills. Minimum (Required) Experience / Qualifications: 2-5 years’ experience working with a programming department for metal cutting. Can Read and Edit G-code/M-code. Proficiency in a CAD/CAM system. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact across a variety of levels within an organization. Strong listening skills to gain understanding of customer needs. Preferred Qualifications: An associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT or other technical field is preferred. Microsoft Certified Professional. Experience Using SQL. Experience Programming in C#. Experience Programming in Delphi. About Us
