Application Operations Engineer

As the Application Operations Engineer, you will support the organisation's core infrastructure applications, including but not limited to Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office 365. What will you be doing? Support the organisation's core infrastructure applications, including but not limited to Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office 365. Provide in-depth technical advice and guidance on issues relating to core infrastructure applications, administration, configuration, change management, and development work. Support and develop by mentoring and guiding other less experienced support staff. Engage with suppliers and third parties to ensure the reliable and effective delivery, working in collaboration with third-party suppliers. Configuration and deployment of new core infrastructure applications and services. Monitor and report incident management performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Desired Skills and Experience: Demonstrated in-depth knowledge in key technology areas such as networking, virtualization, SANs, secure gateways, enterprise backup solutions, and Software Defined Architecture (SDA), including Software Defined Networking (SDN) and Software Defined Storage (SDS). In-depth knowledge and support of Active Directory Domain Services, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office 365, including Microsoft Teams. Sound project management experience of large-scale projects. Understanding of technical trends within the ICT industry to ensure the best use of technologies to satisfy user requirements. What's on offer for you?
