This is an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning Health Informatics department and implement our new Digital Strategy PROUDTOBEDIGITAL. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed, and driven individual to join us as the Application Project Support.

The post will be an integral part of the Application Specialist team and will provide support to the Application Specialists while also having their own work packages to manage.

A good candidate will be able to prioritise their own workload and work with others to provide an excellent service.

Main duties of the job The post holder will work under the Application Specialist Team Lead to help support the team with configuration and incident management tasks. The post holder will be involved in the configuration of both of the Trust's EPRs (Meditech and SystmOne) and support the team in achieving the departmental and team level targets and KPIs. The role will include 2nd line system support and working with both internal teams and 3rd party suppliers to improve current working practices and troubleshoot issues.

Person Specification Experience

Working on/with clinical electronic patient records

Contribution to well-managed projects/work packages

History of explaining concepts to non-technical staff

Advanced use of spreadsheets

Experience in a system support role

Working as part of a team

Experience of working in the NHS

Regular use of DSE and other related IT equipment with advanced keyboard skills

EPR system management/configuration

Experience of writing reports, technical documentation, and policies and procedures

Knowledge

Working knowledge of clinical EPR Systems

Providing support to customers of clinical IT systems

Working knowledge of desktop systems, i.e., MS Office

Knowledge of change management principles

Knowledge of project management methodologies

Data quality and integrity

Knowledge of Information Governance and GDPR

Qualifications

HND, Level 5 Diploma, or equivalent in relevant technical/administrative subject or equivalent occupational/professional experience

ICT skills at level 3 or equivalent professional experience

5 GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths

Prince 2 Foundation or equivalent project management qualification, or experience of project and programme management techniques

Member of British Computer Society or equivalent professional registration

£29,970 to £36,483 a year Per annum, pro rata
