Application Specialist focuses on effectively translate customer needs, specifications and operating requirements into integrated packaging and automation concepts.

What the role involves

• Effectively translate customer needs, specifications and operating requirements into integrated packaging and automation concepts.
• Develop system concepts, layouts and solution definitions aligned with company platforms.
• Identify relevant OEM considerations aligned to customer requirements.
• Maintain layout drawings and accurate technical definition for each project.
• Develop cost estimates (including materials, labour and integration support) using established tools and methodologies.
• Supporting the development of proposals through technical descriptions, clarity of scope and relevant supporting documentation.

Skills and requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience developing layouts, concepts and estimates for capital equipment or automation projects.
• Travel up to 30% (domestic and international).
