Are you interested in working in the digital space? Passionate about improving health and care through providing digital support services and helping to future-proof our NHS through digital transformation? If the answer is yes, then we want to talk to you! We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Team.

Are you highly motivated, driven, with exceptional communication and great customer service skills? We are looking for the right person who is eager to support and guide end users in the use of clinical IT systems. Offering support via phone, email, or the NHIS customer portal. We are a collaborative team, working across different local organisations to achieve shared goals, ultimately to provide the highest level of both customer service and patient care.

The Application Support Team offers support, administration, and a configuration service on clinical systems both nationally and locally. The NHIS Application Support Team administers a large number of systems and clinical applications across Acute Care, Primary Care, and Community healthcare settings. The service manages and maintains a range of applications used by staff within the NHIS client base.

The Application Support Team provides an effective single point of contact for over 12,000 users to log, track, and resolve all clinical application requests, problems, and faults. We act as a single point of contact for our clients, local service desks, third-party suppliers, and national support teams.

Thank you for your interest in this role. Sherwood is nationally recognised as being an excellent place to work and deliver care. We are rightly proud of the 5,500 colleagues who work here, and we are the Health Service Journal’s Trust of the Year in 2020.

The Care Quality Commission rated King’s Mill Hospital Outstanding and Newark, and Mansfield Community Hospitals Good. Overall, we are rated Outstanding for care.

For the last three years, we have been ranked as the best NHS Trust to work for in the Midlands and in 2020 we were the third best Acute/Community NHS Trust in England.

Happy colleagues deliver better care. Our teams work in a supportive, inclusive environment, which nurtures wellbeing and has opportunities for development and progression. We do not just care for our patients; we also care for you.

Our culture of learning, compassion, and taking a person-centred approach are at the roots of our organisation. We would love you to join us.
