Here at Burendo we are looking for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about Technical Service Support. You'll have a technical background and you’ll put that to good use during service outages to support the recovery of services through incident and problem management, ensuring our colleagues and customers receive the most reliable service possible. If you enjoy working in a collaborative and innovative environment, you will find this an incredibly rewarding role.

This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance and be on an on-call rota.

Below are examples of activities you might perform day-to-day working with our clients:

L2 application support

Overall BAU Management for Production environments

Coordinate with L1 and L3 teams to ensure alignment on management of the services

Incident, Request, Problem and Change Management

Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and availability

IT Vulnerability detection and resolution

Platform Monitoring

Pipeline execution and monitoring

Coordinate with other product stakeholders to ensure alignment on the solution.

Ensure security standards are applied across production services with regular security reviews.

Ensure documentation is updated and current, including run books and process/policy documents.

Be part of an out of hours (24hrs) support rota.

Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent communication

Working knowledge of React, Python and GitHub

Proactive with a desire to continually improve and evolve the service

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

A strong understanding of how IT systems work and a keen technical interest

Nice to haves:

It would be great if you had one or more of these, but even if not, we’d like to hear from you.

Experience in the management of AWS Cloud platforms

Knowledge in managing and executing CI/CD pipelines
