Reporting into our Application Support Team Leader, as an Application Support Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in liaising between our internal service management and our IT delivery teams to monitor, troubleshoot and diagnose live incidents. You'll be given the opportunity to learn new technologies that underpin the IT strategy which will include Webservices Integration, Cloud services (Azure/AWS) and will learn in a supportive and friendly environment. This role involves on call support, which is typically once per month for 1 week. Hybrid working role with our office located in Newbury. Some of your key duties will include: 2nd/3rd line support and monitoring the health of applications Troubleshooting and diagnosing live incidents and managing through to resolution Working collaboratively with our development squads, effectively bridging the gap between development and operations What are we looking for? You'll enjoy working with technology and will have good all-round knowledge of IT. You'll have a desire to learn new skills and will be seeking an opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment. Also, we're looking for the following: Good knowledge of Business processes within the Vehicle Solutions division Strong support knowledge of middleware applications Power Platforms and Workato. Usage of monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, AWS Canaries) Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with others to deliver solutions Strong Stakeholder and Vendor management skills Able to prioritise work effectively to meet demand What can we offer you?
