Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting an Applications and Design Engineer to be based from their Bristol, Avon.
The main purpose of this role is to review client specifications to glean necessary details for the completion of design and selections.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £65k, depending on experience.
Reporting to the Commercial Sales Director, your responsibilities will include: Conduct site surveys Make recommendation costings for submission Complete detailed system design proposals including drawings Undertake selections of relevant Chiller and HP equipment Engage with suppliers and utilise their tools and technical documentation Collate offers from clients and the external sales teams Keep up to date records on our client's CRM Keep up to date with our client's products Attend commercial meetings with our client's customers
The ideal candidate: A minimum of 5 years experience within the HVAC industry, preferably working with Chillers A degree or HNC/HND in Building Services or HVAC Competence with CAD Previous experience with HP or Chiller Applications Installation/Commissioning experience would be advantageous Coming from an engineering background will be an advantage Understanding the specifications of Heat Pumps, Chillers, Pumps, Tanks, Pipework and associated components for selection Experience of providing quotations based on specifications
