This is an excellent opportunity to join an international business with a great reputation locally. This position will be well suited to a candidate who is experienced in working with laboratory equipment and has a chemistry background, looking to move into a more sales-based and customer-facing role. This position will offer the opportunity to work with end users in developing world-renowned products as well as travelling internationally to liaise with customers. Roles and Responsibilities: Develop LC/MS and GC/MS methods with a variety of sample preparation techniques. Prepare and perform demonstrations on products to small or large groups effectively, online or in-person. Train customers, field reps, and other co-workers on effective sample preparation techniques. Evaluate potential products and provide input for new product development. Maintain and keep abreast of competitor activity. Requirements: Degree qualified in a chemistry-related subject. Experience in a customer-facing role is beneficial, but not essential. Knowledge of sample preparation laboratory automation equipment is an advantage. Strong chemistry background with experience processing small molecules in biofluids (blood, urine, and oral fluid) samples in a hospital/clinical or commercial lab. Reference:
