With a flexible home-based role, you’ll have the freedom to work from anywhere while travelling across the UK to engage with clients and shape the future of water engineering. Your main tasks and responsibilities: Develop expert knowledge of Sulzer’s comprehensive product portfolio, including aeration systems, mixers, waste conditioning equipment, pumps, and digital monitoring technologies. Provide technical consultation and solution design during pre-sales engagements, addressing customer challenges and creating customised, high-value proposals. Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for customers and channel partners, showcasing the innovation and capabilities of our offerings. Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and project teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and support project execution from concept to commissioning. Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor developments, and emerging technologies, contributing to Sulzer’s continuous growth and leadership in the market. To succeed in this role, you will need: A strong engineering background, ideally with knowledge of the water and wastewater industry. An engineering degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of relevant experience. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and MS Office, with experience in CRM/ERP systems (Salesforce/SAP desirable). The ability to build rapport with customers and address both technical and commercial queries confidently. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively, including overnight stays.
