The Role

As an Applications Engineer, you will act as the technical expert between the company and its customers, providing application support, product recommendations, and technical solutions. You will work closely with the sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions within engineering, water, or agricultural applications.

Key Responsibilities Technical Consultation:

Work with customers to understand their application needs and provide tailored technical solutions. Product Support:

Advise on product selection, installation, and performance optimization for engineering, water, and agricultural applications. Project Involvement:

Assist in the design, specification, and implementation of engineering solutions. Pre & Post-Sales Support:

Support the sales team with technical expertise during customer inquiries, proposals, and after-sales service. Customer Training & Troubleshooting:

Conduct product training and troubleshooting to ensure optimal use of solutions. Industry & Product Knowledge:

Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements. Documentation & Reports:

Prepare technical documentation, application case studies, and customer reports. Cross-Department Collaboration:

Work closely with R&D, production, and sales teams to develop innovative solutions and improve product offerings.

What We're Looking For Technical Background:

A degree or equivalent experience in engineering, mechanical, electrical, water, or agricultural engineering. Industry Knowledge:

Experience working with fluid systems, pumps, industrial machinery, agricultural equipment, or mechanical components. Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to diagnose technical issues and provide effective solutions. Customer-Focused Approach:

Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into customer-friendly solutions. Commercial Awareness:

Ability to support sales teams by identifying opportunities and enhancing customer value. IT Proficiency:

Experience with CAD software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office. Flexibility & Travel:

Willingness to visit customer sites as needed.
