Are you an Applications Engineer looking for a new role? Our client is urgently seeking an Applications Engineer to join a growing business in Telford.
Duties:
The successful applicant will be required to review contract files to ensure they can interpret client specifications and requirements. Produce schematic drawings and component schedules for issue to shop floor. Liaise with clients and attend site meetings when necessary. Identify opportunities for product and process improvement through feedback from customers, field performance data, and industry trends. Participate in product development initiatives and contribute to the enhancement of LV switchgear offerings. Ensure LV switchgear designs and solutions comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance and adherence to best practices. Requirements:
A knowledge of engineering in the LV Switchgear industry would be an advantage, but we are willing to offer training to the right applicant. Must have experience of using AutoCAD; in addition, a recognised engineering qualification would be an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and cross-functional teams. Strong project management abilities, with the capability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The package:
