We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Applied Science and Biology Teacher to join our team on a full-time maternity cover basis in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is ready to make a difference in the classroom and help students achieve their academic potential. Requirements: QTS or PGCE in Biology, Science, or a related field. Experience teaching Biology and Applied Science at secondary level. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one). Strong communication and classroom management skills. Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Applied Science and Biology to secondary students. Plan, prepare, and assess student's work to ensure progress in both theory and practical elements. Monitor and support student development, ensuring a high standard of education. Work collaboratively with other departments and staff to create a cohesive learning environment. Contribute to school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities as required.
