A dental nurse supports the practice in all aspects of patient care, which includes: Getting the appropriate instruments ready, mixing materials, and ensuring patient comfort. Working closely with the dentists and therapists. Preparing the surgery for the next patient after the current patient has left. In general practice, sometimes the dental nurse may help with reception work – making appointments, taking payments, and dealing with paperwork.
