Dealing with the domestic customer just wanting a single door or main contractors on full scale projects, we will accommodate to everyone’s needs. We appreciate our customers' work to strict deadlines which cannot be missed and as such if something is urgent we will pull out all the stops to deliver at short notice and on a short lead time. We hold many independent accreditations including the BM-TRADA Q-MARK, ensuring that our fire doors are manufactured correctly, following the right specifications and practices every single time. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is the potential for gaining permanent employment within the company. You will be fully trained in all of the following areas: All aspects of flush fire door construction and how to use the processing machinery Cross cut Panel saw Veneer presses Sanding machines Lipping machines Glazing of doors The successful candidate will be responsible for: Working to deadlines Working in an organised manner Maintaining a tidy environment Collaborating within a team Taking pride in your work Shadowing experienced colleagues The Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship Standard is a multi-discipline programme, encompassing a variety of job roles within the workplace. This apprenticeship standard is delivered within the workplace, where the apprentice will complete a Level 2 Diploma in Manufacturing. You will receive Functional Skills training in English and Maths prior to your End Point Assessment if you do not already hold a GCSE Grade 4/C or higher (or equivalent qualification) in these subjects. IPS will support and train the learner through the component aims with monthly monitoring and assessment visits to the workplace, preparing the learner for the End-Point Assessment (EPA) required for this apprenticeship. Working hours: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-15:30.
