The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career at Seymour House, with options to pursue a managerial route or specialize in areas such as special educational needs, disability, speech, and language.
You will be working with children between the ages of 0-5 years, helping support children’s play and nurture their development. Responsibilities include:
Organising activities.
Assessment and record keeping of children's learning and development.
Working in partnership with colleagues and parents.
You will work alongside experienced Early Years Educators, have a dedicated mentor, and receive support from fellow apprentices. Our aim is to help you achieve your Level 3 Early Years qualification, which includes:
Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF).
Functional skills in English and maths if required.
Working hours are Monday to Friday on a rota basis, falling within the nursery's opening hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.
