The Apprentice Lean Consultant will have the opportunity to gain great skills and responsibilities from the very beginning within the Lean Improvement Team. There are no set day-to-day responsibilities due to the flexible nature of responding to our client’s and project's needs, however, our apprentices will have the opportunity to learn by:
Supporting the Lean Improvement Group in driving lean implementation, assisting our Lean leaders and Practitioners to ensure projects are successfully delivered.
Supporting Lean assessments as required.
Supporting and facilitating our client engagements developing key communication skills.
Assisting in reporting on Lean activities and progress.
Helping in driving responses to the annual Highways Excellence Lean Maturity Assessment.
Helping the Lean Improvement team innovate and grow our solutions and services to provide excellent client experiences.
Identifying opportunities to learn, grow and develop using our internal communities, team members and training materials.
On this apprenticeship you will complete the Level 4 Improvement Practitioner and this will be delivered on a day release basis.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
