Level 3 Key Responsibilities:

Childcare and Education:

Provide high-quality physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for children. Maintain the highest standards for the nursery’s environment, resources, and activities. Assist with planning and ensuring the delivery of the EYFS framework. Maintain accurate children's records and support partnership with parents and carers. Promote inclusion and ensure children’s needs are met, including health, safety, and emotional support. Lead children’s transitions and maintain their safety at all times. Health and Safety:

Follow all Health and Safety policies, ensuring a safe and clean environment for children. Be vigilant in emergency procedures, food safety regulations, and cleanliness in all areas of the nursery. Operational Responsibilities:

Support the nursery’s promotional efforts and contribute to regulatory inspections. Be reflective and continuously improve your performance and the team’s practice. Staff Responsibilities:

Assist and guide new and existing staff, demonstrating good practice. Foster team collaboration and support staff recruitment and training. General Duties:

Be proactive in addressing parent concerns, with support from room leaders or management as needed. Participate in extra-curricular activities and out-of-hours nursery events, including meetings and training. Desired Skills:

Computer literate and able to communicate effectively. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Personal Qualities:

Positive, organised, and patient with a natural ability to care. Hardworking, punctual, and motivated to improve. Essential Qualifications:

GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
