We have a great opportunity for an Apprentice Nursery Nurse within our setting. A job working with children is primarily fun; you will be helping children learn through play, seeing them grow and develop. The role is based at our nursery that provides full day-care for children aged 2 months to school age. Working with children provides constant challenges, personally and professionally. You could be planning for the child’s next steps, a day trip, or working with parents; the job will vary from day to day.
You will gain a NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification at the end.
The role includes:
Working with our external training provider to obtain nationally recognised qualifications, including completing assignments on time
To attend team meetings and contribute relevant ideas
Under supervision to provide all aspects of care for children including changing and feeding
To assist with meeting the personal and emotional needs of children
Helping children progress through their next steps
To provide adult interaction with children in the setting
To be aware and abide by the settings policies
Skills:
Enthusiasm for working with children
An interest in the care, learning, and development of young children
Job Types:

Pay:
From £6.40 per hour
Expected hours:
30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
