This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual eager to gain hands-on experience in property management and administration while working in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Hours Monday to Friday: either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm (40 hours a week)

Duration: 1 year 9 months

Work As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

Assisting with general office tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organised records.

Managing incoming and outgoing post efficiently.

Coordinating tenant referencing processes with accuracy and professionalism.

Preparing, reviewing and ensuring the timely execution of tenancy agreements and contracts.

Handling emails and letters, ensuring professional and prompt correspondence with clients, tenants and service providers.

Scheduling and confirming appointments for property viewings, client meetings and maintenance visits.

Taking minutes during meetings and distributing them accurately to relevant stakeholders.

Aiding with managing the company’s social media accounts to promote services and engage with the community.

Training An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Your training course Business administrator (level 3) - Equal to A level

Course contents

Skilled in the use of multiple IT packages and systems relevant to the organisation in order to: write letters or emails, create proposals, perform financial processes, record and analyse data.

Produces accurate records and documents including: emails, letters, files, payments, reports and proposals.

Exercises proactivity and good judgement.

Builds and maintains positive relationships within their own team and across the organisation.

Demonstrates good communication skills, whether face-to-face, on the telephone, in writing or on digital platforms.

Completes tasks to a high standard.

Takes responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, manages priorities and time in order to successfully meet deadlines.

Uses relevant project management principles and tools to scope, plan, monitor and report.

Your training plan

The apprenticeship will be delivered within the workplace with onsite visits every calendar month.

Functional skills delivered on college premises if required.

Requirements GCSE in relevant subjects. Let the company know about other relevant qualifications and industry experience you have.
