An established engineering company based in Aston requires an apprentice power press setter operator.
Duties:
Initially you will operate an automatic power press and be trained up to change the metal coils that are fed into the press.
You will work with a press setter and learn how to change tools in power presses and set metal feed rates across a range of machines from 20 to 350 tonnes.
Requirements:
Ideally you need to have an engineering background or apprenticeship with experience operating power presses.
Hours:
7am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 12pm on Friday.
This is a temp to perm position that starts immediately.
