Salunda’s supplies networked monitoring solutions for harsh environments that exploit the Hawk Network, a zone rated, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform. This patented, low latency network leverages Salunda’s suite of monitoring solutions as well as 3rd party devices. The company is based in Bicester, England with overseas subsidiaries and owns more than seventy granted patents. We are looking for a highly motivated school leaver who is eager to take their first step into working for a technology company in a fast-paced environment. You will jump straight into providing vital support and gain exposure to various different areas of the business. Full training will be provided, and there will be a real emphasis on your development and growth within the company.
Responsibilities:
Possibility of moving into a manufacturing role, quality, stores or other areas of interest Perform Factory acceptance testing of products Perform good in inspection Complete inspection reports and analysis Liaise with suppliers on quality issues General stores duties; using MRP, Stock Control, Dispatch of goods Learn to understand technical drawings Learn about electronics manufacture Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician Level 3 (A Level) Apprenticeship Standard Education with Activate Learning in the workplace The training schedule has yet to be agreed upon, further details will be made available at a later date This standard will meet the professional standards of the Engineering Council for registration as Engineering Technician (Eng Tech) by an appropriate Professional Engineering Institution. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (breaks to be confirmed)
