This exciting apprenticeship opportunity will allow you to start a career in a highly rewarding allied health profession which combines a high standard of patient care with advanced technical skills. You will undertake on-the-job training alongside BSc study with the University of the West of England (UWE) over a 36-month period. The training will be academically challenging, but you will be fully supported throughout to develop the required skills and knowledge.
Successful completion of the training will allow you to register as a qualified therapeutic radiographer with the HCPC. Please ensure you have the UWE entry requirements.

Responsibilities:
Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to undertake a range of radiotherapy duties and procedures, as detailed within the apprenticeship programme. Work under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner at all times. Attend other radiotherapy departments to gain sufficient experience in some treatments or novel technologies where this is considered appropriate. Attend mandatory block study weeks for the Radiotherapy Radiographer Apprenticeship programme at the University of the West of England (UWE).
