Are you passionate about childcare and education? Little Giggles Nursery is seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Level 3 Apprentice.

Key Information

Working Week:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:15 PM for the first 6 months; shifts between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM thereafter. Hours per Week:

42.5 hours initially, increasing to 43.75 hours after 6 months. Expected Duration:

12 months. Apprenticeship Level:

Level 3. Salary National Minimum Wage Responsibilities

Childcare and Education

Deliver high-quality care that supports children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. Plan engaging activities following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Maintain accurate records and promote positive partnerships with parents and carers. Support the inclusion of children with special needs and ensure all safeguarding protocols are followed. Facilitate smooth transitions for children moving rooms and help provide rich outdoor learning experiences. Health and Safety

Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld throughout the nursery. Follow Health and Safety policies and manage risks effectively. Maintain a safe, secure, and clean environment for children. Operational and Staff Support

Assist in inspections, staff inductions, and day-to-day team duties. Act as a role model, inspiring colleagues with best practices in childcare. Use time effectively to support a collaborative team environment. General Duties

Engage in training, planning meetings, and other nursery events. Take part in appraisals, supervisions, and continuous professional development. Support the preparation of snacks, cleaning duties, and equipment maintenance as needed. Requirements and Prospects

Desired Skills

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Basic computer literacy. Personal Qualities

A positive, patient, and organised approach. Hardworking, punctual, and kind-natured. Qualifications

GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and maths (or equivalent). Future Prospects

Potential for a full-time role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship. Things to Consider
