Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP)
to join our client in
West Sussex . This Permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity to act as a lead practitioner within a multi-disciplinary team, taking referrals, triaging, and prioritizing cases based on risk. Role Responsibilities: Undertake Mental Health Act Assessments (MHAAs) as part of a rolling shift pattern. Conduct thorough risk assessments, ensuring that risks to the individual and others are identified and managed. Liaise with partner agencies, such as healthcare professionals, social workers, police, and other service providers, to coordinate responses and actions as needed. Maintain awareness of changes to mental health legislation and best practices to ensure a high standard of care. Essential Requirements: Experience as an AMHP with extensive knowledge of the Mental Health Act. Valid driving licence. Shift Pattern: Rolling rota, 8 week repeating pattern that essentially consists of 7-3 shifts one week and 2-10pm another and includes some weekend hours, bank holidays (additional pay when worked) with an enhancement of 18%. Fixed enhancement of £4,471.56 per annum paid monthly at £372.63.
