Business Support Apprentice

Salary: £16,400 per annum

An exciting apprenticeship opportunity has arisen to join a growing organisation. APSE provides a range of services to Councils across the UK including seminars, advice, training, benchmarking, and knowledge sharing. This role allows the right candidate to receive training in business support functions to support our team in APSE Scotland. Reporting to APSE Scotland Principal Advisor, you will work within the team to help with their work. Responsibilities (with appropriate training) include: Able to assist in administrative duties around event planning. General office duties including monitoring stock, ordering supplies, and general administrative tasks. Maintaining accurate information on the website. Providing customer service to a wide range of people, both internal and external to the association. Attend events to assist with set up, liaising with venues, and co-ordinating with venue staff on the day. Maintaining accurate records on the database. Assist with financial duties. Qualification: This role will lead to Level 3 business administration or equivalent. Benefits include: Flexible working hours (Flexitime); Monday to Friday. 35 hours per week with day release where required. Excellent training and development opportunities.
