About the Role We're looking for an experienced Architect to join our team. This is a full-time, onsite role based in Barking, with regular travel to sites. You'll be joining a team of six in a small business that has a big impact. Key Responsibilities Preparing and presenting design proposals to clients. Preparing tender and planning applications. Building relationships with contractors, clients, and other industry professionals, including negotiating, attending regular meetings, and coordinating the work of contractors. Making site visits to check progress. Using problem-solving skills to handle requirements and any issues that may arise during the build. Ensuring each project is on track to be completed within the agreed time frame. About You Strong visual awareness and attention to detail. Strong drawing skills, with the ability to work in 3D preferred. Innovative with a wide imagination, able to think outside the box. Strong IT and Maths skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and present presentations. A multitasker with great time management skills, capable of planning and organizing projects. A problem solver who thinks logically, analytically, and creatively. Someone who is always striving for better and looking to develop their skills with their team's support. A passion for the industry.
