This Canterbury-based practice is seeking a talented Architect/ Architectural Technologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will work on a series of small to medium scale residential and commercial projects, where the successful candidate will be expected to run between 2-5 projects at any one time, varying in scale from £200k - £2m.

You will be working closely with other experienced architects while developing your skills, producing high-quality design solutions that meet the ambitious standards of the practice. This role is ideal for a motivated and creative individual looking to gain hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior architects and designers on a variety of projects Assist in developing architectural plans and designs Utilise software tools such as AutoCAD and SketchUp Participate in project meetings and provide creative input Conduct research on material and building techniques Assist in the preparation of presentations for clients and submit planning applications

What you'll need to succeed:

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite Strong understanding of architectural principles and design concepts Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to also work on their own Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
