They are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and results-oriented Architectural Designer who wants to progress their career. This is an important role, and you will be part of a growing, successful team focused on getting the business to the next level. Salary & Benefits Package 25K to 35K subject to experience 37.5 hour week Benefits they offer Training and Development towards passing Part 2 and 3 Exposure to all RIBA Work stages Opportunity to grow into a senior role and decision-maker Client-facing responsibilities, managing your own projects Site meeting expenses paid (Fuel expenses) Key Requirements of the role Responsibilities Conducting site surveys and client briefings Drafting 2D and 3D design packages for planning submission Coordinating with external design team members Developing and coordinating Building Regulation packages Attending networking events to represent the company Engaging with new inquiries and discussing clients' proposed projects Managing time independently Opening and closing the office Assisting the director with day-to-day tasks Results Expected in this role Become a qualified Architect Manage/run your own projects Obtain planning permission for projects Gain building control approval for projects Expand your network Standards Act with professionalism, integrity, and honesty Treat all clients with kindness and care Represent the company to the highest standards Continue to develop skills and knowledge Increase responsibilities within the company operations Knowledge & Skills Required Expertise in AutoCAD Proficiency in SketchUp Expertise in Photoshop Proficiency in InDesign Professional manner when communicating with clients Knowledge of Planning Policy requirements Knowledge of Building Regulation/construction information Ability to engage and network with new contacts Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent time management skills Strong communication skills Well-presented Experience Required Part 1 qualified At least 4 years of work experience in the residential sector Ability to converse with third-party consultants Experience developing planning application and Building Regulation package drawings Experience working on RIBA Work stages 0 to 4 Experience with residential projects Other Special Requirements Keen to learn and ask questions Enjoy engaging with new people A desire to become an Architect and future director of the business If you want to join a well-established, Family Run Business and be a catalyst for their future growth, then this is the job for you.
