Company Description UK Overheating is the first company in the UK dedicated to the assessment of overheating in dwellings. We undertake assessments to comply with Approved Document O (England & Wales) and Scottish Building Standard 3.28. Our unique offering combines the knowledge of environmental constraints associated with building sites to develop a single coordinated overheating strategy, accounting for thermal comfort, acoustic comfort and indoor air quality. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Architectural Technician at UK Overheating located in Birmingham. The Architectural Technician will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as 3D drawing processing, 3D modelling within dynamic thermal modelling software, and documenting designs. The role will involve both in-person and remote work as decided by the company. Qualifications Architectural Technology and Architecture skills Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with building regulations and standards Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology or related field
