Our client is a well-known private and social housing developer who is seeking a skilled and experienced Architectural Technician to join their team in Glasgow.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private and social housing projects. You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and schedules to support the design and construction process.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed architectural drawings and plans for private and social housing projects. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure designs meet client requirements and regulatory standards. Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and materials. Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary information for project development. Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards. Assist in project management tasks, including coordination with contractors and suppliers.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or related field. Proven experience in private and/or social housing projects. Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.). Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
