A dynamic and innovative company is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Architectural Technician to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, minerals, and renewable energy developments. The successful candidate will assist the company’s Architects and Planning Consultants with design and presentation work, demonstrating experience in graphic presentation related to architecture, planning, or allied professions. On offer is a competitive salary, private healthcare, 25 days annual leave, hybrid working, and free on-site parking. Skills, Experience & Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician:

Create drawings, plans, construction drawings, photomontages, 3D models, visualisations, and other illustrative materials to support planning applications, presentations, and contract documentation. Apply precise specifications in architectural drawings and maintain organised drawing packages and client/consultant specifications. Develop architectural details and write specifications to a high standard, with a thorough understanding of UK building regulations and planning policies. Ensure all project deadlines are consistently met to the highest standards. Proficiently utilise software including AutoCAD, Adobe, Sketch-Up, and Revit. Demonstrate capability in freehand drawing and artwork, which is advantageous but not essential. Several years of previous experience working as an Architectural Technician. Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills. Show enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a proactive attitude. Collaborate effectively within a team environment. Hold a full driving license and have access to own transportation.
