Are you an experienced Architectural Technician/Designer with a passion for delivering high-quality designs in the residential development sector? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading housebuilder renowned for creating beautiful, sustainable communities. The Role: This role involves designing and coordinating residential developments from concept through to completion. You’ll ensure all designs align with technical regulations and meet the highest standards of quality and profitability. Responsibilities: Produce detailed site layout designs prioritising profit and aesthetic value. Prepare comprehensive production information, including house type drawings, specifications, and supporting documents. Ensure all drawings comply with technical regulations and are prepared to a high standard. Fulfill the role of Designer under CDM regulations, including compiling health and safety documents. Work collaboratively with consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Address technical queries during the build stage and integrate feedback for continuous improvement. Attend project and site meetings as needed to maintain alignment with project goals. Key Skills and Experience: Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office. Strong understanding of construction, house building, and relevant regulations. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Commercial awareness linking design to cost and value. A degree in Architectural Technology or a relevant qualification. 1–3 years of relevant industry experience (minimum). What’s On Offer: £40,000 - £42,000 annual salary plus a £6,000 car allowance. Bonus scheme offering up to 20% of base salary. Enhanced pension scheme with increased employer contributions.
