Architectural Technician - Sutton This Sutton based architectural firm with over 25 years' experience is seeking an architectural assistant or architectural technologist who is proficient in Revit. The successful candidate will work as part of an architectural team delivering the construction documents and managing the design process for Residential Extensions, Loft Conversions, New Build and Conversions. The successful applicant must have a positive attitude with proven proficiency working collaboratively within a team setting, a strong work ethic and a solid ability to work with accuracy and take responsibility for his/her own work. He/she must be self-motivated, capable of assuming increasing responsibility for both current and future projects, and hold a clear ambition to grow with the firm. Essential Requirements: A degree in Architectural Technology, or be ARB registered Have technical design experience in Architecture Advanced 3D capabilities Knowledge of building regulations and standards Advanced knowledge of Revit, including ability to create construction/working drawings using Revit Experience of BIM on various scales, from conceptual massing to construction documents Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience Very accurate design and technical abilities Strong and clear communication skills Full UK driving licence Day-to-day responsibilities: Preparation of detailed scale drawings and specifications for regulatory approvals Preparation of drawings for tender and construction Preparation for detailed schedules of materials and finishes Coordination between primary MEP/Structural Consultants Work closely with clients to understand goals and to develop and support viable solutions Managing other design team members Providing a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within deadlines Benefits: 25 days holiday + bank holidays Car space will be provided.
