Architectural Technician Job in Winchester A growing firm in Winchester has an Architectural Technician job now available. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge data centre projects, utilising your technical expertise and BIM knowledge. The practice is a well-established practice with a focus on delivering high-quality projects in the commercial sectors of data centres, logistics, offices, retail, and hospitality. Their Winchester office is expanding, particularly in the data centre sector, which is known for its technically demanding and BIM-intensive projects. They offer a dynamic working environment with regular opportunities to develop your career, while promoting a healthy work-life balance. Role & Responsibilities Work on data centre and other commercial projects, with a strong focus on BIM and technical coordination Collaborate with the internal team and clients to ensure seamless project delivery Produce detailed technical drawings and documentation using Revit and other BIM tools Manage project teams and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders Assist with project management tasks, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met Opportunities for international travel for those interested. Your Skills and Experience Minimum of 2 years experience across relevant sectors, ideally across all project stages Strong design skills and technical knowledge Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential (Revit test will occur at the Interview stage) Good understanding of UK, US, or EU permitting and construction Confident verbal and written communication skills Excellent team working and organisational skills, with a proactive attitude Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Fluent in written and spoken English (additional language skills are advantageous) What You Get Back Competitive salary based on experience Hybrid working with 2 days in the office, required and operating core hours 10am-3pm Support for learning and development opportunities Paid professional subscriptions related to the role Cycle Scheme to help towards the purchase of a bike Paid business travel and subsistence towards lunch when attending business events
